Dejanh seems to run a lot cooler amongst them for his voltage. If you look at the temp and the voltage, I'd say I am pretty close. They all have triple rad of phase change! These are the guys with higher clock than I have. I picked red to match the classified theme.Īnd where did that fall compared to the custom loop setups you looked at?įrom the Stability Thread. See how the Antec logo lights up red? You can make it any color you want with 256^3= 16M color choices using the included software. The whole bracket from the 920 will go in the 620 box to the happy future owner of the 620.Īfter spending some tricky time trying to mount my 140mm fan with 120mm hole pattern this is the result.

I will even leave the bracket from the 620 since they are completely identical. Yeah, that's how I took my gulftown to 4.5GHz. You can see from the marking of the TIM that it made great contact. The Waterblock/pump unit from the 620 removed. The 620 which is only a couple of weeks old will be put up for sale soon. It is actually a Shin Etsu probably the X23 7783D I did not use it since I was planning on using my own Gentle Typhoon AP29 3000rpm as a push and pull with a TY140 This fan is supposed to turn at 2400 rpm.

I got a couple of sets at half price from the Crazy PC sale. I will also attempt to change the TIM and use the Indigo Extreme at some point. The TY 140 is great but it seems to be holding me back. I might look for a more powerful 140x25mm PWM fan. I don't know whether I will be testing the stock fans though.

My water temps never exceeded 40C.Īlso the ability to change the color of the logo by tuning the intensity of the LED inside the unit through software is pretty cool. I will be posting pics shortly. It was one of the features I liked on the Coolit Vantage but I had to look into the case to be able to read it. It is driving it much harder than my motherboard used to since it is now turning between 13rpm Vs. I have the TY140 connected to the PWM fan connector.

Also note that I did not give any time for the TIM to cure. Actually 4c if you consider the room temperature increase to 24C. My room temperature is 1 deg higher than my temp from a couple of days ago when I got 4.5GHz on the stability thread. I've had to it this way because my case takes a 140mm exhaust and I am using a weird adapter system to make it work. GT AP-29 -> Feser Shroud -> Antec 920 -> Thermalright TY140.

So far I have only installed with my own fans:
